The XGN15-12(F) and XGN15-12(F·R) Compact Fixed AC Metal-enclosed Switchgear (hereafter referred to as Switchgear) are designed for ring main or radial power supply systems with rated voltages up to 12kV and rated currents up to 630A. They are particularly suitable for integration into prefabricated substations for power system control and protection.
This product incorporates FLN36-12D type SF6 load break switches or FLRN36-12D type switch-fuse combinations with insulated enclosures. It features a compact design, light weight, easy and smooth operation, reliable interlocking, and is maintenance-free, representing a new generation of high-voltage switchgear ideal for urban grid upgrades and construction.
The product complies with: GB3906 “AC metal-enclosed switchgear and controlgear for rated voltages above 3.6kV and up to 40.5kV”, GB/T11022 “Common specifications for high-voltage switchgear and controlgear standards”, IEC60298 “AC metal-enclosed switchgear and controlgear for rated voltages above 1kV and up to 52kV”, and DL/T404 “Technical conditions for ordering indoor AC high-voltage switchgear panels”.
◆ Ambient Air Temperature: Upper limit: +40°C, Lower limit: -25°C
◆ Altitude: Not exceeding 1000m (For altitudes above 1000m, relevant regulations of DL/T593-2006 “Common technical guides for high-voltage switchgear assemblies” shall apply).
◆ Relative Humidity: Daily average ≤ 95%, Monthly average ≤ 90%.
◆ Ambient air shall not be significantly polluted by corrosive or flammable gases, water vapor, etc.
◆ Location without frequent and severe vibration.
◆ For conditions different from above or other special requirements, please consult our company.
Please provide the following information when placing an order:
◆ Main circuit diagram number, single-line system diagram, and layout diagram.
◆ Schematic diagram for secondary circuit wiring and terminal arrangement diagram. If no terminal arrangement is provided, the manufacturer’s standard will apply.
◆ Type, specification, and quantity of electrical components within the switchgear.
◆ Material and specification of main and branch busbars. Otherwise, they will be supplied as per the manufacturer’s standard.
◆ Any special environmental conditions for the switchgear application must be specified during ordering.
◆ Required accessories and spare parts, including their types and quantities.
◆ Enclosure Structure: The ring main unit enclosure is constructed from 2mm thick aluminum-zinc coated steel plates. The rear plate features two pressure relief openings: one for the cable compartment and another for the load switch/busbar compartment. This design maximizes safety for personnel and equipment.
◆ Compartmentalization: All compartments are independently isolated to prevent the spread of potential faults.
◆ Busbar Compartment: Located at the top of the cabinet, it connects adjacent switchgear panels.
◆ Load Switch Compartment: A self-contained unit filled with SF6 gas.
◆ Cable Compartment: Approximately 75% of the space is dedicated to cable connections, fuses, earthing switches, and potential transformer (PT) installation.
◆ Mechanism & Interlock Compartment: This compartment houses the operating mechanism, mechanical interlocks, position indicators, auxiliary contacts, trip coils, voltage presence indicators, and related interlocks.
◆ Low-Voltage Compartment (Optional): Located at the top of the cabinet, it can be used for mounting specific devices such as meters and relays.
◆ Circuit Breaker Compartment (Optional): A circuit breaker (SF6 or vacuum type) can be installed below the load switch.
◆ Pressure Relief Devices: The rear cover of the RMU is equipped with internal pressure relief devices. The upper relief panel is for venting gases from internal arc faults in the busbar and load switch compartment; the middle-lower relief panel is for venting gases from internal arc faults in the cable compartment.
