The KYN61-40.5 (Z) Compact Armored Metal-enclosed Switchgear is designed as a withdrawable metal-clad structure. It is equipped with a new generation of fully insulated vacuum circuit breakers or sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) circuit breakers. The cubicle employs an assembled structure, enhancing its aesthetic quality, manufacturing precision, and significantly reducing the production cycle. All normal switching operations can be safely performed with the high-voltage compartment doors closed. This product complies with international and national standards, including IEC-60298, GB3906, and DL404, and features a comprehensive “Five Protections” interlocking safety system. Designed for 40.5kV three-phase AC 50Hz power systems, it is used in power plants, substations, and industrial & mining enterprises for power reception and distribution. Its functions include circuit control, protection, and monitoring. In addition to widespread use in general power systems, it is also suitable for applications involving frequent switching operations. The switchgear is designed for use under the normal environmental conditions specified in GB3906 “AC Metal-enclosed Switchgear for 3.6-40.5kV”.
The KYN61-40.5(Z) Armored Withdrawable AC Metal-enclosed Switchgear (hereinafter referred to as the “Switchgear”) is primarily characterized by its integration of a new generation of fully insulated vacuum circuit breakers. The cubicle employs an assembled structure, which enhances the product’s aesthetic quality and the fitting precision between the withdrawable carriage and the cubicle frame. The insertion and extraction of the carriage are exceptionally smooth, ensuring interchangeability. This design enables rapid production organization, assembly, and timely delivery, improves space utilization in assembly areas, and offers advantages for batch production.
Closed-door operation is achievable. All its standard operations—including circuit breaker opening/closing, moving the circuit breaker carriage to the service position or withdrawing it to the test/disconnected position, and the opening/closing of the earthing switch—can be performed with the circuit breaker compartment door closed.
This product complies with the following standards: GB3906 “AC Metal-enclosed Switchgear for 3.6-40.5kV”, GB/T11022-1999 “Common Specifications for High-voltage Switchgear and Controlgear Standards”, and IEC60298:2003 “AC Metal-enclosed Switchgear and Controlgear for Rated Voltages Above 1kV and Up to 52kV”.
Designed for 40kV three-phase, 50Hz AC power systems, this product is used in power plants, substations, and industrial & mining enterprises for receiving and distributing electrical power, providing functions of control, protection, and monitoring. In addition to widespread application in general power systems, it is also suitable for locations requiring frequent switching operations. The applicable environmental conditions conform to the normal service conditions specified in GB3906 “AC Metal-enclosed Switchgear for 3.6-40.5kV”.
