Xinda Transformer Co., Ltd. has marked a significant milestone in its international expansion with the successful signing of a 23 million RMB power equipment and engineering contract in Kazakhstan. The contract involves the supply of intelligent, energy-saving transformers and a complete power engineering system tailored for the industrial park, aimed at establishing a stable and efficient energy infrastructure for the developing zone.

This achievement stems from Xinda Transformer’s strategic alignment with the Belt and Road Initiative, through which the company has actively engaged with power sector stakeholders in Kazakhstan and gained a deep understanding of Central Asia’s demand for new energy grid equipment. A targeted sales strategy extending from its Liaocheng base to Central Asia, coupled with proactive resource networking, has successfully opened the door to the Kazakh market.

By collaborating with leading domestic and international new energy enterprises, Xinda has formed synergistic partnerships to jointly explore overseas opportunities. This project has enabled connections with specific new energy project demands in regions including Almaty and Turkistan, along with the new city of Alatau, leading to the identification of several potential clients.

Kazakhstan, a pivotal nation in Central Asia, is vigorously advancing its infrastructure development. Government plans to invest billions in petrochemicals, mining, and agricultural processing—all large-scale industries with high demands for stable power supply—are creating substantial opportunities for the power equipment market, including transformers. Concurrently, Kazakhstan’s push for manufacturing growth and economic diversification presents further cooperation prospects for overseas power equipment companies.

To capitalize on this market potential, Xinda Transformer’s leadership has charted a dedicated “Innovation Roadmap” for Central Asia. This development path from Liaocheng to Central Asia not only represents the company’s own transformation and upgrade but also stands as a vivid example of Chinese equipment manufacturers participating in Belt and Road energy cooperation, contributing to shared regional development.
