About the Competition

“Maker Competition China” – Shandong SME Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is a provincial-level authoritative event hosted by the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology. It serves as an important platform for discovering technological innovation potential, empowering SME transformation and upgrading, and cultivating new quality productive forces. This year’s Liaocheng preliminary round attracted over 100 high-quality innovation and entrepreneurship projects spanning multiple key industries. The projects represented a high level of local SME innovation and entrepreneurship, making the competition intensely competitive.

Competition Format and Judging

The competition was divided into two categories: the Enterprise Group​ and the Startup Group. Each participating team delivered a 5-minute project roadshow​ followed by a 3-minute live Q&A session​ with the judging panel. A professional jury composed of industry experts, industrial investors, and technical authorities conducted a comprehensive, multi-dimensional evaluation and scoring. They also posed targeted questions and provided on-the-spot feedback to accurately assess each project’s innovation capability and practical feasibility. After fierce competition, Xinda Transformer’s two projects won the respective category awards, bringing back well-deserved honors.
