Aligned with the theme of “Deepening Sino-Saudi Cooperation for New Green Energy Opportunities,” the visit aimed to showcase Xinda’s capabilities and explore synergies with Saudi Arabia’s transformative Vision 2030 agenda, particularly in power infrastructure, renewable energy, and logistics.

Ms. Kong Lingyue, Head of the Marketing Department, participated as part of a provincial trade delegation from Shandong. Initial discussions were held with the leadership of the Saudi-Chinese Business Council, focusing on infrastructure investment. Preliminary understandings were reached regarding potential joint ventures for localized production of electrical equipment and collaborative bidding on new energy projects.

To navigate market entry, the team met with logistics experts. Key insights were gained on mandatory product conformity certifications for the Saudi market. Logistics partners proposed integrated “warehousing, display, and logistics” solutions tailored to help streamline the supply chain for Xinda and other Shandong manufacturers.

Guided by the Chinese Consulate General in Jeddah, Xinda proposed a cooperation framework centered on “Green Infrastructure and Smart Power Solutions.” The company plans to further engage with major developers at the 2025 Shandong Export Commodities Exhibition in Jeddah, targeting specific requirements for giga-projects like NEOM and the Red Sea tourism zone.

Extending Reach to Azerbaijan and Regional Markets

The delegation continued its tour in Azerbaijan on April 17th. A meeting with the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation identified over a dozen target companies in sectors complementary to Xinda’s expertise, such as new energy power equipment. Both parties discussed creating linkages between energy infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan, exploring avenues for mutual market access through regional trade hubs.

A session in Baku combined an industry presentation with one-on-one meetings with potential buyers. Utilizing advanced presentation technology, Xinda effectively demonstrated its product range and manufacturing strengths to a focused audience.

Building a Foundation for Regional Growth

This visit represents a strategic step in Xinda Transformer’s plan to establish a stronger presence in the Gulf and Caspian regions. Using the connections established in Saudi Arabia as a base, the company aims to expand its service network to neighboring markets.
